guna be buying some more shampoo plus for a kick off. but a few other things are on my list. if youve got another carwash to reccomend thats good then fire away

I want some wax, i always srp and egp the car but i never wax it. Whats the best wax for a metallic black car ? pete's 53 ? Victoria Wax ? or if i can stretch to it the Swissvax Onyx supposed to give a wet look to the car isnt it ? Would you also tell me how to use the stuff ? i presume its wax on, wax off, a bit like polish. Any time required for it to set ?

Also, how do i get that "new car smell" ? obviously ive bought a car and it was second hand, didnt smell new when i bought it, after they geeza valeted it it had a showroom smell to it, do you know what it is ? im pretty sure it was something they put on the dashboard tbh.

You dont need to SRP every time you clean, and Jeffs works as well as EGP and is quick cure,

Get megs gold class , well i prefer it tbh.

i know, i dont do it everytime but i tend to polish the car atleast once a month.

Shampoo Plus is good bulk shampoo.

As for the wax - I would go for the Onyx.

What Shampoo would you reckomend for the Gilmour foam 2 ,? i have some citrus gloss and wash also megs gold class, but i mean for Arches and wheels ( mine get coated within 2 weeks , and they are white ) and what for the body work, as i should get the gun tomoz.

I use Megs Shampoo plus of Hyper Wash through mine as they are cheap - bodywork and arches etc - then wash with the good stuff.

yeah my shampoo plus has lasted me a good 4 months and im usually very generous with it when i want to give my cara good clean.


even if i use very little its still good stuff.



Is the onyx stuff good then ? Do i simply get an applicator pad (ill be getting a microfibre one) get some wax on it and rub it onto the paintwork, wait for a while and then buff it off with another applicator pad or a towel/duster thing.?

Apply with foam hand pad - I prefer them to MF's for wax application, Remove with a decent microfiber. Onyx can sit for about 10 mins before removal.
