Farewell M3 CSL

  Turbos.
Some of you may have seen a good few weeks ago that i decided to sell the CSL. It's not a case of not liking the car, but for me, it's a bad influence. Also, coming up with £75k to build an NSX means i can't have my cake and eat it. So, regrettably, i will be putting her up on PH today.

My driveway is not a great photo location and is very dusty so since my dad sold his Merc last week it's stayed in its old space. Rob @ Supercar Detailing did his magic yesterday and here are the resulting photos...

Awesome Rob. Such a shame. It'll be sold in absolutely no time at all. The CSL's are snapped up very quickly.

stunning car, the next owner is a looking man/woman as it looks a minter!

No, wasn't at FCS. I'm not sure about my next car. Selling the Smart next too, so who knows!

Hopefully it will sell quickly. I'm going to fly a kite at £32k and see what happens over the weekend! Ideally, someone will recognise the mods are worth something.

absolute 100% dream car for me. id have one of those over anything in the sub £100k bracket. Perfection imo

Best of luck with the sale, I hope it goes to a good home.

PMSL. Foiled again... ;)

Just looking at the prices of the CSL's, seems a few are in the £20k+ bracket now. Heavier mileage, mind.

Thanks people...

Yeah, very mileage sensitive it seems. I would be happy with £30k, but there are a couple without the APs at the same price or more.

Some people make a deal of having a 2004 one, but all it means is that they sat unregistered in dealerships as they were all made in 2003.

Peach, probs one of the best if not thee best i've seen, i'm constantly looking at M3's and CSL's on PH!!

One of the cars to own before you die, in my opinion. My Dad used to have one from new, still one of the best sounding cars ever made too.

It sounds like yours has been loved, and can I just say how nice it is to see/read an advert that has been done properly! I'm amazed when browsing Pistonheads at the amount of ad's that are done so poorly, you read a bad advert and it puts you off! This one didn't disappoint, good luck with the sale. :)

Agreed, I got taken out in one once. That noise!! Get's right inside your head, takes over everything. Not slow either, as said... Good luck, nice ad :)

Drove it twice and the only chance I'm gonna get to drive one in the immediate future... and for me... the most enjoyable car I have driven... PERIOD. Awesome all round package.

And yes I've driven some decent HP cars... various Turbos... Rari's, V8's etc etc.
