Fast & Furious Question

Have you guys noticed that when Brian races Torreto for slips in the first race and loses to the Rx7 , Torreto says to him that he was "granny shifting" and not "double clutching" does anyone have a clue what this means....... or is just movie talk..... ie bo***cks

the whole fillm is rubbish

acordding to the cgi the rx7 has pistons?

dont try to figure out this film. its total sh*te but strangely watchable

lol double declutching is used when the gearbox dont have synchromesh where as both them cars do so it be no use anyway its when you pres clutch down take it out of gear brin clutch half way up put it back down shift into new gear then let it back up its used to match input shaf speed to output speed so it dont go bang crunch oops

Granny shifting is just a normal clutched shift, double clutching is where you depress clutch, disengage the current gear, raise clutch, match revs, depress clutch and engage next gear, then raise clutch again...... but on upshift? I only use this matched revs whilst down changing on track, hehe youll get a better time flat changing up (maybe) LoL..... but the clutch might not like you for it

The films sh*t. All the cars are slow. My dynamique will have them off. My car does a 1/4 mile is 18.7secs. Their cars take around the 3min mark.

I dont even have NOS.

You dont have NOS ?

aww you dont know what your missing.. apparently when you press the buttons all the background scenery should go really blurry and out of focus..

I was thinking of getting a 200 shot of NOS. And when I blow my engine up it wont mater because Ill still be able to race the cops and get away.

......but it doesnt matter if your cars got a million bhp, cos the cops can still always catch up with you in the time it takes to flick camera angles!!!!!!!!!!

The best part is when the floor falls out of the passenger footwell, yet he is able to carry a passenger just a few minutes later with no problems whatsoever!

Clutch in (press the clutch pedal to the floor)
Move the gear stick to NEUTRAL
Clutch out (release the clutch pedal to its normal position)
Blip the accelerator (push on the accelerator pedal so the revs rise and fall)
Clutch in again
Move the gear stick to the new gear
Clutch out again
