Fault code

Had my car diagnosed yesterday with faulty precat lambda , so ordered one today, but what I want to know is, can I disconnect the battery once fitted the new sensor, to clear the ngine management light? I know it works on a vauxhall?

light should go off automatically. Fault code will need clearing

Sorted, I'm sure I can live with an underlying code until my next service

Boohoo it hasn't gone out even after disconnecting batter for an hour
