Faulty 16v Trip Computer

My trip computer only reads the temperature(and thats a bit suspect too).It wont cycle through the different readings.Are there any known faults that could cause this?

Also,my oil temperature guage goes up to maximum when I start car but then drops straight back to minimum from then on,not registering temp at all.Any ideas?

Trip computer??? They only have a external temp display!

As for the oil level gauge, it only works on ignition, thats why it drops back down after.

Not sure what the prob is with the oil temp gauge, do a search and youll find the answers......

Are you sure you aint gettin the oil level and temperature gauges confused?

Oil level is far left and should indicate the level then drop after 30 secs.

Temp is the middle gauge.

I presumed it was trip comp-my old R19 had one and displyed mpg,fuel left etc.



Yeah is far left guage.I really need to sit in the car for 5 minutes and suss what everything does.Still havent done this yet since buying it.
