It was bloody easy... and I wasn't that dissappointed it was over TBH... Tomb Raider Legends had a decent-ish ending but that was still way too easy (bought it one day and returned it the next). If I'd have payed £50 for the Xbox 360 version I'd have been seriously unhappy...

I guess you guys are probably right. The ending was a bit poor, but I've found this with almost every game that I've finished since my 13th birthday - it was exciting back then. Long ago, I put poor endings down to the fact that it was just more exciting to clear a game when I was younger. That's my take on it anyway. Whatever happened to FMV anyway?

I suppose I was thinking of FarCry as a comparison, which was far worse than F.E.A.R. in my personal opinion. I thought the ending of the latter, was quite clear in its intentions in making you realise the devs intend to make a sequel.

I personally didnt think F.E.A.R. was easy at all, but I guess it depends how good you are at shooters :D Either way, I'll be installing it this weekend, and I might just check out Combat for free while I'm at it :approve:

Ulitimately, I thought the single player game was a cutting edge technical experience with a hard, gritty angle and a quite involving story, but still very accessible.
