im looking for a PH1 172 and ive been getting some quotes..

most online sites wont even give me a price after telling them your life story

ive been gettin quotes around 2.2k with 2 years NCB at 19 i know theres cheaper out there but just cant find the companys that will give me the good worthwhile quotes..

im starting to think im going to have to be more patient and wait till im 20 in december unless any of you lot have some advice youl probably all say the same (QUIT) lol

Just wait lol pointless spending loads on insurance unless you can afford it!

Have a look at your postcode rating etc, and add parents to the policy!

yeh my area is considerd to be a nice one but has an Enfield postcode which doesnt help..

im so im patient though and so bored with my 1.2... decisions decisions

all i can think of is add parenets or maybe have your self as a named driver (with a company that lets you build your no claims). i got it worse, will be 18 when i get my 172 and get quotes for 3k, but will be money well spent in my eyes.

Try living in Manchester. I can't get a quote under £3,300. (21, 1NCB, no crashes/penalties, etc.)

Try and be patient for a while and don't waste your money modding your 1.2 in the meantime (like me lol).

I'm in the same situation. Have been saving up for a 172 for ages and now I can't jusify the insurance premium they demand.

I'm going to get a 106 gti i think, they are a lot cheaper to insure, run, maintain, repair, modify etc then get a 172 cup when i'm 21.
