Can someone do me a favour or know the answer.

Is the 195 more 205. And 205 more 215?

Tar

I allays liked them tbh.

And of the tyres i tried on the road/track they were my favourite. Because slow racer.

they're about comparable to NS2-R in 180 guise ime. although in all fairness not run them in a good few years

They have a treadwear rating of 140 so a bit softer than the NS2-R 180s but I don't think they get any better reviews than the Nankangs...

I’m on 595rsr’s and haven’t ran anything other on my clio. 205/50/15

Used all the others on other cars tho but for the price of 595’s there good value for money

got to admit i've hardly driven on them but the few times i have in the wet from cold they aren't confident inspiring and that wasn't in the winter either, for the driving you do i wouldn't fancy them.

ad08r is better from cold in the wet and from the prices you've mentioned they are cheaper as well!!

Gotta agree with bloke, not much experience of them but they were shite when I used them.
To me they seemed like budget tyres with fancy tread pattern.

R595R `s are a track day soft compound tyre for dry use, and as such work well at a reasonable price.
You can legally drive to a track and home on them, but they are very marginal in the wet or when not up to temperature.

I get that, didn't really want to comment on track stuff as I only passengered with them on but @Djw Dave didn't rate them much for that either!

They kind of strike me as a compromise everywhere.

They are what they are at the price.
I don`t dispute that there are better choices for more money.
I think everybody is agreed that they are not a good day to day tyre.

I have the RSR's as summer tyres in 205/45 r16. And I can tell you they are wider than the Pilot Exalto's and the hankook ventus RS-2's that I had before them in the same size.
So I guess the 195's will be more like a regular 205 tyre.
