feint oil light without ignition

Have gremlins after washing my car. occurred few weeks ago and had clicking relay and wouldn't start.

Was traced to poor earth behind the passenger side headlight.

All's been ok until today when washed the car again.

This time heard constant clicking from relay 15 or q. I've swapped this for the rear wiper relay which has cured the clicking, car runs ok

But have feint oil light on dash even when keys not in.

Any ideas, either on the electrical fault or the point of water ingress?

Have you pressure washed the engine? We used to see this with battery lights after pressure washing engine. BTW.. they relay probably isnt the issue for the clicking you experienced, they suffer with bad connections.. removing it and putting the rear wiper one in might have simply disturbed the bad connections. Also seeing people ram power probes into the connectors doesn't make things better, they need closing back up nice and tight.
