Ferodo brake pad info needed

I'm currently running DS2500 and they're 60% worn. Super setup with the hoses etc. I notice the DS3000 are even more track/race orientated. Has anyone run them, are they a lot different, need a lot more heat to get them going?

I'd imagine they kill discs more too but that's not an issue as I do little miles now.

Any info would be great, cheers.

I think they are for track use only mate, pagid blues are supposed to be good ask markcup .

i have some 3000's on order mate, we'll see ina few weeks if it pulls the shooting brake up in time, LOL 2500's on the rear
 
Evo gone used to run them but therew bit hard for road use. He went backl to 2500's in the end as it wasn't worth the cleaning I don't think.

what colour are the 2500's and the 3000's.........just out of intrest or are they both same to look at?

well im not sure of the model no. but i have red ferodos on the front of mine. absolutely superb so far. no drastic effect with cold braking.and spent pretty much all day on track at oulton last rs trackday there.....not a bit of fade....ruined a set of tyres, lost about 1/2 stone in weight..pads n discs still s**t hot. well recommended......even yozza was impressed lol.

mine are def red. the box didnt have a series no. on em...jus teh DS logo. mate of mine got em....£35 they s**t hot.

lol...dunno......but they work well. havent encouraged any fade wotsoever out of em yet. colour coded me discs like...but the brakes still bang on an they dont seem to chuck all that much dust out either.
