a 182 gearbox
i run the speedo of the abs rings so i can use either the 172/182 box
i did feel a noticeable difference now ive got the 182 box on.

mate of mine has a white 172 with a black roof and mirrors have a play around in PS i think it looks the nuts

There is non afaik. There is between phase 1 and 2 172's, but not phase 2 172 to 182. Anyway looks ace, imo just need some black Cup/Trophy washer blanks

the diff is a bolt in on the 182
and on the 172 its some sort of circlip ?

the 182 boxs are stronger apparently.
i did feel a difference between the two when driving(you can say its bulls**t all you like but i did feel a difference between ph1 172 box and a 182 box)

& the washer blanks are silly prices like 80 quid for a piece of plastic?
