Few things I got today for my 172 and.....

1) EBC Green Stuff - I found the word "Lucas, 4 pads per set, Made in UK". I am thinking if Green pad are actually made by Lucas !!! I remember Lucas do soemthing like clutch stuffs for many cars, am I right? Oh, also, the box say " Renault Megane 2000->"

2) Magnecor 8mm lead - I get it just because I have some credit from Ktec. The box say "Renault Clio 1.4 RT SOHC (E7J) 90-96". Wow, never thought we use the same lead :-o

3) Idler (82 00 065 479) - I remember edde recommend us to change it as well during 36k service with the aux belt. But never thought the idler is like this, see attached pic. I thought it is something relate to electrical.

Your lead set are the 8.5mm red one or the blue one?

how much did u pay for the idler, i had to change mine as it was causing a whine.

The pulley you have is the one under the air-con pump and will make loads of noise! I changed mine recently.
