I have to confess I wasn't keen on the colour originally and wanted the metallic blue. I decided to go and look at Racing Blue and that was that! (And the price helped sway my decision a little)

They're RenaultSport sill protectors as fitted standard, not Trophy ones.

iirc the 'trophy' sill plates were only on the 55 plate ones in that style. ours will be diff daz as i was going to look at a 55 plater that had them also

Mines a 55 plate and has the same sill protectors .

Yes, have owned two before, both Lupos. The Sport first and then the GTI. Amazing little car the GTI, quite similar to the 182 in driving style and what you have to do to get the best out of it. Really like VWs but they can be so expensive without any extras - and because of this second hand ones with extras are rare. 182 all the way
