it was done at a local place to where i live.called "jam sport" they have a good reputation when it comes to fords.they wanted to give it a go so i agreed to let them do it.the only thing they havnt done is relocate the battery but i think im gunna get them to move it.

i would of liked to get gdi to do it as his work looks really good but i spose it was just easier to do it somewhere local.cost around 900 to do it which ent bad

id defo move the battery, if its still in the original place then its right next to the turbo, which if you havent noticed already gets insanely hot

i mite still take it down to gdi to get them to maybey set it up properly if it doesnt run too well altho they have rolling road they have to excuse

it looks like every1 i kno of with clio turbos are either breaking them or having accidents in them.be a shame to destroy the car as it was so clean.you should try and sort it out.how bad is the damage?

jarvis, if jamsport cant sort it out tell them to call mike spencer they should have his number or rach from rtoc, they should know her too she dont live far from jamsport and she is mike spencers other half, she will get in contact with him and get him to fix it propperly, he has the title for building the fastest gtt in the uk, so he is fairly good...

hnmm well... tbh i cant see the carb giving u a boost leak... what is happening ? sticking accelerator could be the throttle linkage not adjusted right and binding... i would seriosely call them and say get mike spencer to look at it, he knows his carbs... and he can rebuild and jet it for how a gtt should be done, no dissrespect to jamsport but at the rtoc rr day there i saw atleast 4 gtts blow on there rollers... they know mike spencer as he organised it, and honestly wouldnt trust them with a gtt carb... as alot of places just bang in a couple of jets they think is right...
