First Car W Reg 1.2 Grande, what do you think?

Nothing special just my first car, a W Reg 1.2 Clio Grande. Done 40 000 miles when I got it 3 months ago. No service history but plenty of MOT’s and last owner an old man and woman. I’ve put a new head unit in, 2 6x9’s, iPod with iPod holder, flat wiper blades, blue sidelights, new GB Plates, Dynamique alloys, new cam belt, shiny new mats, Clio tax disc holder, full clean in out and under the bonnet, planning to do a full service soon. What do you think?? :rasp:

are those the lights on the newer clios with with clear center bit?? if so would it be a straight swop???

They fit yes but you need the new clusters and the bulb holders as your bulb holders wont fit.Need to rearrange the wire position on the loom aswell, Easy Peasy though, 10-15 minute job. Well worth it

You will have to rewire the rear lights but it isn't too hard. there is a guide on here somewhere matey.

I have a dynamique black plastic spoiler if you want it mate. straight swap just a plug for the brake light and a few screws. £30 posted to your door?

Cheers for all your help, I don’t think I’ll do the spoiler but I may do the lights in the future. Don’t really want to be spending much more on it as it’s my first car. I’ll have a look round some scrap yards at weekend and see if I can pick up the clusters/holders etc in one. Any rough ideas to a price for everything from a scrap yard don’t want to be ripped off???? Cheers!

£15-20 maximum for the ph2 lights and bulb holders, anymore than that just leave them. Can pick them up for that from members on here

usually scrappys will do you a deal if you buy more than one thing, if you find a spoiler aswell as the lights go for it, No more than £30 for both though

so 15-20 for "both" lights and 30 if i find a spoiler as well??

yeh £15-20 for Rear lights and bulb holders (i.e. passenger and driver side) and offer £30 for lights and spoiler if you find one

been thinking about it, ill have a drive round some scrappys at the weekend and try to pick a spoiler up and some ph2 lights. ill post some before and after pics once ive done it. (hopefully not blurred ones lol!)
