First clean since November.

  Clio
Hi guys, got up bright and early this morning to wash my car, was in abit of a state so got the jetwash out. Washed it twice over with megs then gave it a polish with Autoglym SRP and then EGP. Took a few pics of the paintwork to show you, although not great quality because they are off my w810i phone. Took quite a cool pic before i started...

Nice work, if I had a garage that big my car would always be clean.

Sweet S2 Rallye aswell, wish my dad liked cars!

yeh the garage is great for cleaning! My dad loves cars, he is an X rally driver and has been in the car trade for most of his life, i think thats where i get my enthusiasm for cars :D!!

cheers alan.

Rich: should i use a wax on top of the SRP and EGP through winter or will the layers of SRP and EGP be ok?

Cheers Alan, just a few miles to get to yours!

2 - 3 layes of EGP will see you through winter, you could leave it untopped to allow you to add more layers of EGP if you want. Or stick some wax on mainly for looks to be honest, or some durable wax, which wont add much to the looks but will be 'the belt and braces approach' to ensure it is well and truely protected for a good few months.

We can have two cars in with the doors opened fully or one car in and detailed properly, all of our tools, a work bench, my mountain bike(s).

great wrk mate, good lad, great colour as you know i biased lol

i put P21s over 6 layers of egp but then again thats only because i live in uni from monday and cant wash it each wk :(

used the P21s because thats the only, and the first wax, i have/used. might get some pointers off others for next winter re a more hard core wax.

Cheers jamie, since i bought the car back in october its had 6 layers of EGP, so i reckon it will have been ok through the winter.

EGP rules . . . . . so long as you dont inhale when using it lol, swear i was high the other day :D
