First pics of my new car (non sport content)

First chance I've had since November to get out and take some pictures of my car (1.6 16v extreme 4).

Spent ages washing it and thinking of locations yesterday, then it spent all day raining, which rather took the shine off things!

Still not to be put off, me and my mate went to an underground Sainsbury's carpark in Harpenden and put my flash to good use instead.

Haven't done this in a while so was a bit rusty, but I think these came out ok.

No modifications yet, and not going to bother with too much as it's only a 1.6. Planning to go for an RS grill and some silvervisions though.

I hate the thought of neons.
But they look good, pretty similar colour aswell..
Nice car.

Hahaha I know, they are so Fast and Furious. The light in that picture is a flashgun with a blue gel on it, but I was going for a neon-type look.

mate where you from?

that is the doctor surgery :)

I used to live on Station Road but moved up the county last June. Still haven't found any good photo spots so usually end up coming back to Harpenden :)

The Dr's Surgery is a great spot, those pillars are awesome, and the bank is good for dynamic wonky angles! Used to skateboard there too.

where do you live now? yeah i bmx there all the time!

Looks good... I really must get round to getting a few photos of mine sorted

I wouldn't mind a bit of practice with another car when I've got the technique down. It's still about a million miles away from what I want. Are you still working at the business park? Some pretty cool looking spots around there.

LOL i thought you actually had neons of it for a moment, loving the fluffy dice and colour-coded bumpers

Looks a decent base to start with dude.

any plans other than RS grill and silvervisions?

Naw don't think so, only just renewed my insurance and it's not with a modification friendly company! Going to keep this one pretty standard I think.

In an ideal world I'd lower it and widen the track because the wheels look wierd at the moment. Probably fit xenons too as I've always liked those. And an RS bodykit. Basically turn it into an RS :p

Those dice are a bit chav but I've had them in my cars since I was 17 so can't bear to part with them! The bumpers are cool, I haven't seen another non-sport with body coded bumpers around so I dunno if they were an optional extra or whether there just aren't many 1.6 extreme 4s around!

Perfect Spec; 1.6, post-facelift, NO SUNROOF. I Have a sport and I'm jealous

RS grill, lowered, done.

  a low one
lowering shouldnt hit your insurance much, i payed £40 extra declaring mine. if your not happy with the wheel offset then buy some spacers and fill the arches abit more?

Yeah I snapped it up when I found it! Had a few hiccups (belts, circlip, new clutch, 1 broken and 1 worn driveshaft) but I love it too much. It's new enough to be in good nick but not so new that it's a different shape.

Might give them a call and see. Not looking for anything too dramatic tbh.

Yeah still work on Croxley Business park. Some Great Locations, night time with all the offices lit up it looks great.... I might have to hav a word with Security there and see if they would get funny with a few photos taken on sight.... They are not very Car friendly down there though TBH.

I'd be well up for that, I took some pictures in there for their photo competition last year. I work on the Watford Business Park so it's not far to go either!!
