Fitted my carbon fibre engine cover - pics

Got that one off ebay a few days ago, the quality is not amazing to be honest, and it may not last long.

I got one as well. The quality is quite poor up close and no it isn't carbon. Also, when I fitted it my engines idle went up which I tracked down to one of the front manifold bolts. Once eazed off the idle returned to normal. I think I'll return mine, once I can get the Torx bolt I rounded off
 
however need to take it off to top up oil Don't know if i would like that
 
Looks ok I guess, but I don't really see the point? The whole point of carbon is that it is light and strong, yet that part requires no strength and it would be lighter to have nothing at all a la cup.

Lol.......Looks good but can i just ask why? Who actually sees your engine apart from the mechanic who fixes it when its funked?
