Fitting 172/182 sport bumper

I'v got a Renaut Clio 1.5 Dci Extreme 2002 & looking to upgrade to 172/182 front bumper & to fit the 172 rear bumper as I dont have the twin exhaust.
I have heard that in order to fit the 172 sport bumper that this requires new front wings, is this correct & if so why?
If needed where can I get the wings from or is there a easier way instead of replacing the wings?

not 100% sure but i think you might need them because they are wider and the lights might be different as well don't quote me on that tho

im sure you asked the exact same thing the other day?

the wings on the sport are wider, and the bumper is also wider to accomadate this... also the sport panel gap between the bumper and wing is dead straight and the normal ph2 has a kick up at the end,
as i said the other day it can be made to fit you have to modify the bumper brackets to pull the bumper in and cut a section off to make the panel gap right

rear bolts straight on

lights are the same (fitment wise)

if you decide to do it properly and get the wings you need to buy the skirts aswell as they blend in to the sport wings

pay the membership and i think theres a guide kicking about

OK Ditz thanks for the info, however I am struggling to find somewhere to buy these from. Have tried some breakers too but no luck, do you know of anywhere I could try.

you can buy the wings at renault for abou 50 quid each, it will look silly with out the bigger alloys plus you will need the sideskirts too!

Thanks. Yeah i'v done some mods which include new 17" alloys OZ Superlagera. Any ideas how much to get new front & rear bumpers form renault?
