fitting a piper?

  Astra H vxr
hi people, just another question about the piper exhaust :s, im going to purchase one this week as heard its a very good made exhaust, only problem is ive been reading up about it and its came up with ** To fit this to the renault clio 182 the standard olive join on the cat will need to be removed as the piper centre pipe is an improved sleeve fitment**

this is the same exhaust im going to go for
http://www.kamracing.co.uk/renault/renault-clio-mk2/exhaust/exhaust-systems/renault-clio-mk2-rs-182-piper-catback-exhaust-system.html

i
want an exhaust i can put straight on with out arsing about with cutting ect lol, will this just clamp onto the standard cat or have i got to start cutting into the exhaust somewhere as im not to sure what they mean by removing the olive? :( cheers Adam

:p i would get it fitted but money is abit tight atm :( , just abit confused on how to fit them as heard youve got to drop the beam :(

  Fast ones...
The standard system may need cutting so that you can remove it without lowering the beam.

The system will be a direct fitment and is supplied with an adaptor so that cutting isn't required.

It sits against the end of the cat and slots inside the centre section, this can be seen below:

Trust me this is a good thing.
The standard join between the cat and the centre pipe is absolute cack. I ended up cutting off the standard fitting and welding a 2.5 inch join in place but it was a lot harder as my exhaust wasn't designed with this in mind.

I'll hold my hands up and say our listing is wrong. Piper as mentioned already above now comes with an adaptor so it will go straight on without needing specialist work.

yes, you can get a recessed system, I found an old picture the other day and put it in another thread. They come with the trim too
