fitting an ecotek valve

i have bought an ecotek valve for my 1.2 16v but im not sure how and where to fit it properly. I have a rough idea but am reluctant to just start cutting hoses, can anybody help? pics would be useful.

what makes u say their a waste? their supposed to improve fuel economy and acceleration so whats wrong with that?
what have u heard about them?
