Fitting Factory Dials With Rev Counter

Car  GOLF GT TDI
My Clio Currently Does Not Have a Rev Counter, I have just recently got a set of dials with a rev counter (shown in pictures below) the problem I have is people on here have said the wiring loom is already there for the dials to be fitted as they wouldn’t have separate dials for each model !.

Anyway I was in the process of removing my old dials to put the new ones in and found that not only do I have just the 2 plugs behind the dash but also the plugs that are currently on my car are completely different shapes and wont plug into the new ones :(

I just wondered why this is have I got dials from a Diesel car or something I have taken pictures of the dials to show what I mean.

The plugs you can see in the second picture are the plugs i cut out of the car when i took them dials out

If someone else has had this problem..

Please Help!

Stuart
