Fitting H&R coilovers to MK1 172

Opened up the pack today and in a seperate bag there are two metal units with a large thread in the middle and two discs that wind up and down. Are these what people call the adjustable platforms for the rear. Do these units fit under the springs or do they fit with the dampers. I am getting a little confused?

they go on the ream beam (under the springs)

yup as fred says ^^^ there are two halves to the nut type part, one goes under the rear trailing arm and and the other screws onto it from the top. Then the "top hat" type part screws through the centre of them both. you bin the lower spring rubber as it doesnt fit.
