Fitting VDO Dayton CD Changer Part 2

  Megane
Ok guys, got in a big hooha with Renault Today, I had ordered a 8200082120 bracket for my VDO Dayton CD Changer and it turns out this doesnt fit my CD Changer as its for an alpine

It did come with 2 brackets but what is wrong?!? What do I need to get this under the passenger seat

Its very close but you'll manage it, and mines got an aftermarket alpine changer on it now so i've had to chop the wings off and drill new holes for that.

i just had a eureka!! If i bend back the little lip for where the bracket slips in this will let me adjust it to match the holes :D no drilling necessary!

Ok well i got the wiring done today at a local garage :D run out of places to shove it so it is under the cup holder for now lol. Where has everyone hidden there wiring?? I dont want to hear from those that have had their dash off. lol :D

Is that all you need to fit this? i.e. Renault told me today there are 2 bits to fit in an alpine changer? I've only ordered the base plate (£8), do I need the mounts for the changer as the changer I've got came on a ph1 bracket.

No you'll be fine, it might take a little modding but it'll fit just fine.
