Thenbolt on my struts where it bolts to the axel had came loose but as you say youve checked there tight so i dont know

I'm assuming the shock is mounted correctly at the top, rubber pieces either side of the turret and correctly torqued.....not massivly tight iirc so the rubber can do its job.
And like I mentioned earlier, you should have a rubber pad on top of the spring.

i am totally confused now, judging by the pictures they go on the back of the car? but what about the front? how does that get lower? or does that just lower the back end?

These are just the rear shocks and springs.

The fronts are actual coilovers with the spring around the damper.

im slightly worried.. i ordered fk highsport coilovers and received what is shown in the picture i posted.. (rear shocks and springs)

take pics of everything that came in the box.

You should of got 2 of the above (for each side) and 2 seperate shocks and 2 seperate blue springs (for the back)

omg im so blonde on times! just taken a second look and realised the front coilovers are in a seperate cardboard section underneath the rear shocks and springs! *shamed*

you sorted it out now mate? seems alot of ball achin about to change it over, might get mine done by rimstyle
