fk coilovers?

thanks to John2Modified for the group but on the fks .

Just need some advice on fitting. I lowered my last two clios so have got a pretty rough idea on what to do, just want to know-

Fronts: do you use the standard cups on the top of the original strut in the engine bay on the coilovers?

Might sound a little silly, but im presuming the harded is compressed the lower the car.
