FK Highsport Coilovers -

FKRT12

Very interested in these for my Mk1, phase2 Clio.
But different websites say different things!

Venom Motorsport say:
Front axle adjustable within TUV guidelines only. No extreme lowering. 15/45mm
Renault Clio B/C 57
http://www.venommotorsport.com/shop/index.html

Europerformance say:
TUV approved lowering of 45-85 mm
RENAULT Clio (B/C 57) - 09.98
http://www.europerformance.co.uk/pages/products/product_info.mhtml?id=179225

First off, are these 100% okay for my car (above)? What does B/C 57 in the ads mean?

Secondly, what is the actual lowering range of the FKRT12? It seems to be anything between 15/45 - 45/85 depending on the website.

Other websites add even further to the confusion, with different answers to both questions.

A helpful, conclusive answer would be so valuable as this is a big investment for me and I can't afford to spend £100s if it doesn't fit my car or lower it enough. Thanks.

think the highsports were replaced with Silverline's and the konigsports (adjustable damping ones) were replaced with the Silverline X ones, worth paying extra for the Silverline X ones, i had them

nothing was replaced?

Silverline and the Silverline X are just Zinc Plated Stainless steel housings instead of the normal Zinc Plated steel housings.

All four versions are still available.

Try some Avos if you want to go lower.

Coilovers do have other benefits other than lowering, the handling will be transformed and the Konigsports allow adjustable damping so you can set it up for track or road use as you please.

45mm is not a bad drop tho.
