do you think this colour would suit a 16v as i really like it and feel it would suit a subtley modded valver?

It wasnt me at Trax but I had noticed it in the pictures. Dont see many MK1s out and about but have seen all colours except another red one ! Must be a few out there though.

I would say of the pictres posted Paddys pic in the 11th post down showing the front of the car is the best representation of what it looks like most of the time. Being pearl it does change a bit, my darker pics were on a dullish day.

the thing i like about flame red is that it looks ace in the summer when the light hit it, but in the winter, its a lovely flash of brightness in another wise mono chrome winter world. Its nice to look out of the window and see it beaming away brightly, whatever the weather. It also looks like an elegant red and I think makes the Clio look a bit (dare i say it) classier.
