#3 PH2 172 Flamer
Right then decided to do a proper project thread of my Flamer 172 van conversion. I nee a car for work that is good on fuel, dont need ALOT of room in the back, something comfortable and something fun, So i thought to myself ill do a 172 van conversion, I was fortunate enough that i had a friend who was thinking of selling his 172 flamer. So.. I bought it off him. The car has full service history with the following mods :-
-Apex springs
-197 Renault sport badge (put in a weird place)
-Carbon wrapped badges
-Powerflow cat back exhaust
-Skode splitter
Heres pictures of when i bought the car
Anyone a week later I sourced some of the parts needed for my van conversion, Managed to get all the van interior bits and the window panels for a total of £80 bearing in mind renault wanted £90 per panel!
Next thing was to start stripping out the back ready to fit all the van interior so off i went and stripped
Once all stripped out i sourced a cup splitter for a good price! Sent it off to my mate to spray and on the car it went, Love this mod on 172's and probally my favourite mod of the car all together, I also took the carbon wrap off the badges as i prefer the standard look
Anyway, when i got the time i fitted the new van interior ready for work and gave it abit of a clean
Anyway after a few days of this the sprayer rang me up and told me the panels were ready so off i went the next day to get them in!!
And here is the final look!
The colour match on spoiler and the panels are perfect!! would deffo recommend him
Anyway the VAN is perfect for my use and i have loved using it so here is a few pics of the van at work haha
Then a roofrack come up forsale on the forum so snapped his hand off and on that went too haha
Met a rival at the local petrol station haha
And that is how the car is now! or should i say van haha here is one last pic after a quick clean
Hope you all like!
