flat spots..how to overcome!!

hi guys i realise this is a standard 172 engine thing but up to a certain revs the car seems very slow in the pic up and feels very flat what can you do to overcome this currently running a bmc and scorpion system...my future and only further engine mods will be inlet work, decat and remap...what about an upgraded fuel pressure valve will this help??

i had one on my Sax... no it wont make a difference.

once you get your inlets done in combo with a map you'll be a happy man i think

yes the remap is required as the air flow to petrol is not quite right , hence the flat spots
