Floor hinged accelerator pedal

I prefer a floor mounted pedal anyway, the bad positioning was just the extra bit that made it worth me designing one. The pedal position in Clio's is only tolerable if you have tiny legs and very long arms.

I'll be fabricating one for my own car anyway as all it will cost me is materials and a few hours of my time. A small cost to make driving my car a more pleasurable experience IMO.

This. Only today i drove a new shape Civic with a floor mounted hinge and its so much nicer to use. I think alot of people would want to take up the option of doing a conversion if it worked well.

Just a quick update for everyone that was interested in one of these...

I've designed the pedal today, got a full CAD design done. Just waiting on the materials that I need to produce them and I'll start on making it, should hopefully be tomorrow morning.

I'll post some pictures of the progress.
