Fluid advise please

Hi, just after some advise on the best Brake and Gearbox fluids for my girlfriends 51-plate Clio 172.
I dont wanna be fobbed off with whatever Halfords stock haha, rather she had the best stuff for her car.

ATE Super Blue DOT 4 brake fluid...
75w-80 gear oil... any good brand, I use Castrol or Fucsh

Hi Gray, i have some Silkolene SRG 75/80 so that would be a good to go?

Yeah that would be fine... just make sure it is the 75w-80 grade, the gear boxes are very particular about the oil used.

75/80 and a DOT 4 for brake, nice one cheers for input mate

3.2 litres for Gearbox
1.2 litres for Brake

Or have i just imagined that? lol

you will get away with 3L for the gearbox... you can never completely drain it.

As for the brakes, I bled mine all the way through and topped up.. this used about 800ml of fluid. (the ATE comes in 1L tins)
