Flushing Brake lines?

  182, SQ7, Trafic
How is this done, as I know you can't let air into the master cylinder, so surely you have to keep it all going through.

Any input is great cheers!

  Lots of Alfas
You just flush the old fluid through until the new fluid comes through. The reservoir must be kept above the min line throughout the whole process.

  BMW M135i
As dave says keep it topped up its the abs pump you don't want to be getting air in or that'll extend the process some.

Cheers everyone, I'll try get it done next weekend as runing DOT 4 and 5 at the minute due to emergency track day repairs :p

How many litres does the system take?

The tech specs say it takes 0.5l but I got through about 1l changing my fluid. Then, on another day, when I let the reservoir suck air in, I got through another 2l+ and lots of swearing.

I cannot stress it enough. DO NOT let the reservoir run dry :D
