foam lance - bit tight

Does anyone hav difficulty attaching there foam lance?

I find mine real tight when pushing down and twisting and as for removing thats another story.

Also why is there ptfe tape on the threads surely they should be made properly and no need for it

I didn't buy as the groip buy but got mine from ebay ad, yep its tight (karcher fitment) As for the ptfe, I'd guess its used as a secondary seal.

Needs to be there as I removed mine and water popped out every where like niagra falls lol

Is it the brass connector? If so they are crap, i have heard the newer plastic ones are much better.
It is such a pain in the arse i agree!

Mines fine! Bought in the group buy. Mines a non descript power washer, but with an Alto brass fitting. Mines fine, just wish the power washer had a longer hose!! You need the PTFE to seal the threads, standard practice.

I cant comment on the karcher fitment as i use the bosch fitment. Been using mine and its fantastic. cant beat it tbh. Any problems, i can only suggest ringing Tim from cleanyourcar.
