  Turbos.
What i read in Evo was that lag was an issue, compared to the Megane anyway. The driving position is also supposed to be not that great, but i think that's an affliction with most modern cars.

  Snotter's
Looks like the harrogate dealership, i went up to have a look at trading my s3 against a white one but they wont give a test drive and i would never buy without a try.

In the flesh the car looked amazing.

Yeah there is turbo lag, and the driving position is a little on the high side. Both areas in which the Megane has it licked apparently. Then again, if turbo lag is a necessary evil of having such a fantastic engine, then hey ho.

Apparently you can lower the chairs in the Focus with a set of allen keys?! Might look into that. It is definitely the only area of the car that I could level criticism at.

Interesting. Feel mine are high but hasn't bothered me. Are they that high?

Nah they're not too bad. I don't feel as though I'm sitting any higher than in the Clio. But if I can easily lower them then I will.

Mike, everyone loves a nice c**t.

MPG update. I went on some errands earlier, reset the trip and was just about managing to hold the average around 34mpg. Mixture of roads. Then on the way back I thought f**k this, dropped the hammer (where safe and legal to do so) and it plummeted down to 20mpg within minutes. Roffle. What a hero car

  Better than yours. C*nt.
We'll have to do the 'ring some time this year, and I'll give you a race to the worst MPG! Can you tell the climate to turn off through voice?

I'm kinda glad I cancelled my green one as I think white (aside from blue which my Dad has) is the best colour.

Enjoy - i had a great summer in the old mans!

Awesome. I'll stop and wait for you at the other end of the autobahn ;)

EDIT: What made you cancel, dude?

Iirc ford messed mr moby around a lot. Never f**k with a vegan.

Bang on mate. Ordered in July and the car STILL doesn't have a delivery date as the dealer decided to keep the order open.

I just got sick of waiting and hearing nothing so spent the deposit on mods for my Scoob!

I'd probably have held out if we didn't already have one in the family.

It's still the best car, all in all, that I've ever driven.

Yeah I've read that. Rumour has it that high octane petrol is needed for book figures? I don't know. It's certainly not slow :D

Bet it's not mate, heard one at full chat and it sounds like an animal of an engine. Enjoy it anyway it is a very desirable car, and White is by far the best colour.

Looks lush, glad you're enjoying it. Id have white too, went to a job where someone owned a white one with cloth interior, looked spot on :D

If you can manage it, see if you can get a drive in an ST Danny. Be great to see a review of the real world differences between the two.

I think you'll find it's 50% cloth, 50% leather, and 50% alcantara actually

Yeah it would be good to compare with an ST.

300% seating. Jesus.

I can see how they justify the RS's price tag now.

If you don't spec the Lux Pack, what percentage of seating do you get?

  182+1.5DCI+S2000
Person that parks next to my 182 at work has a Focus RS  they looks 10 times better in the flesh and omg they fly, abit heavy tho

If you don't get at least LP1, apparently they just laugh at you when you go to pick the car up, and tell you it was all just for lols. No car.

This is standard seating IIRC. Lux pack is 100% leather. Or leather and alcantara. So less is more. Possibly.

But maybe not.

The torque makes them feel faster than they really are, but yeah they are better in the metal. What shocks, coming from a 182, is that they are accelerating as hard at 120mph, as the bean would be at 80mph. Apparently.

Peps, the bottom chairs are the same as mine. Mine has LP1. I could be wrong but I don't think LP2 offers full leather. I think that's a separate option.
