fog light flashes under braking

noticed recently that about 60% of the time when the car is braking, the rear fog light on the dashboard will flicker and sometime come on for a second or too and then go off once the brake pedal is not being pressed.

anybody had this problem before? any ideas what it could be? loose connection?

If you give the connectors on the right rear cluster a clean off with some sandpaper it'll sort it out.

took this into a renault specialist. £30 to plug into diagnostics, £25 to wipe off abit of rust lol.

If your lucky you can get the indicator to light up on the dash too, bad times. I had it, loose wire on a rear light.

i had this in my 106. when i pressed the break all the lights would flash lol
took it to a electical place assuming it was a huge job but was 20 quid for a new cluster plug thing

Yeah my dash would light up like it was christmas sometimes. I've replaced the rear clusters and it's a bit better now but occasionally I get the rear fog lamp illuminate on the dash still
