Sorry chaps I must vent

Ordered a new telly from Empire Direct...all went well. got a call the next day to say we will deliver your telly today but can't give you a specific time.

So I take the day off and wait, and wait, and wait some more. As I type this its still not arrived

No fooking telly and a wasted day sitting around the house.

Why the fook do they say one thing and do another.... Do they think I have got fook all else to do but wait for them to deliver.

I've had this before when ordering TV's online. Twice they blatantly lied and said yeah yeah you will definitely have it tomorrow etc and both days I took time off work and got nothing. After mega complaining they admitted they didn't have it in stock and it would be in within a week.

I cancelled my order, went to another place that wanted £40 more for the TV (it was £800 online and £1000 in the shops) and they had it in their warehouse and I got it the next day.

It doesn't always pay to go on these price comparison sites and just pick the lowest price...

I've got a mate who had three missed deliverys with Empire without explanation. I price matched to them from John Lewis and got a five year warranty. I'd try and do this if I were you. John Lewis have their own delivery people.

Your not wrong but at the end of the day if they can't supply the service they promise they should get a better carrier

To be fair to them I have had a telly off them before and it was delivered on time. i think its just the hassle and disappointment of waiting in all day for fook all.
