Well I took the Barca job (as a new save incase I miss my newcastle lads too much ) but I must say I'm enjoying the change.. The chance to just spend money and not worry about finances is great, I spent a total of 183mill on 8 players in the window (LOL), one guy cost 55mill who I'd wanted for years at Newcastle but never had the money lol.. Sold half the old squad but was still out just over 100mill, which has crushed our finances to a measily 813mill..

Playing a 4-3-3 formation with 3 MCs and the strikers set wide and just playing pure fluid movement so the team is all adapting to new style and new team mates but it's proper barca style free flowing attacking football, won the Super cup 3-1 on agg vs At. Madrid but currently top of the league after 4 games with 12 points and +15 GD Only conceded 1 goal so a decent start lol.. Can't wait til El Classico but the calibre of player I have at the moment is insane xD lol will be interesting to see how my formation stands up against a top side though, we did take Juve apart 2-0 mind but I think it could be too open lol

One bad note is I bought a epic MC to have as back up only to realise you can only have 3 non EU players registered and he would be my fourth 23mill to send a player out on loan to shaktar till I decide what to do lol

I like a challenge so either Liverpool or maybe someone like Birmingham, Swansea, QPR for the money. I like going championship teams and discovering players getting promoted and eventually winning the league.

I like the idea of getting Blackpool back into the big time.

FM11 I won the CL twice with Birmingham

One thing is for certain, if you decide to be Liverpool - ditch Carroll ASAP. He is s**t on FM.

Carroll is alright as a big man tbh. He is impossible to sell though. I let him go at the end of his contract and he just retired haha.
I kept trying to give him away but no one would have him.

There's a winger at the start of the game called Willian who you can get for less than 10mil who is amazing

I've got a centre half who is probably one of the best in the game (a few years in...) called Alberto Botia - I got him for £15 mil but he left his original club at the start for around 4 mil if I recall rightly.

If you can get Leandro daimao from Internacional early doors he becomes the main man after a few years too.

I'll upload a screenshot later maybe but my barca career so far in the league is 12 played, 12 wins, 0 draw, 0 losses, 44 goals for, 3 goals against, +41 GD flol

16 clean sheets from 20 games in all competitions

I said it was an attacking formation I had but didn't know the defence would be so solid, I guess if the opponents don't have the ball they can't score xD

need to start a new game this week. done a season with derby, 7th in championship and got sacked never really cracked on with any other teams.

my fm10 real madrid team was incredible however. 2nd first season, won la liga the next 5 seasons straight, 4 super cups, 3 (iirc) spanish cups and 2 cl's. and with double the finances of any other club in the game (circa 1.3billion value)

Just started a new save after getting bored of my Man United one. Started in League 2 with Bradford City, two wins out of two so far including beating Huddersfield in the LC 5-2 which was nice.

You bought Owen and you are the Mackems.. Didn't realise they could become more scum till now.. Defender get Subotic, he deserves better though tbh

Tactis I'd go 442 in prem, and defensive as your squad is s**t.. I hope you get relegated

Lol you actually got me thinking I wonder where they are on my game as I couldn't remember the last Tyne Wear derby I had when at Newcastle.. They are in league 1 happy days

im on a drop on form now lost and drew 1 in last 5 games 71 goals scored in my 21 games though, think the league record of 108 could be under threat

I got worried for a bit as my lads lost form, struggled to win a few league games and lost 3-1 away at AC in CL knockout first round.. But luckily we picked up form again with a 6-0 win over Villarreal, 4-0 over Almeria and a nice 9-0 win over AC to send me through.. I love my squad lmao xD

How do you keep team moral up? I got a decent midfielder in and we were doing really well the first half of the season and then the moral just went to s**t and so did the team and league position .

Give the a bollocking when they drop for one game if that doesn't work I try and encourage and suck up.. I haven't had a bad drop with this barca lot we are on fire.. The league record of 108 goals is going to get smashed by us, just had a 6 game run (5 league 1 CL) which the total score is 38-1 LOL IN 6 games xD

League record played 29, won 26, drawn 2, lost 1, scored 106, conceded 9, GD 97, points 80
