Yep, thats the one.

Since arriving he's took over the first choice centre-mid spot from my captain Dean Furman, due to injury. Was originally signed as backup, but now Furman's fit again theres no way he's just walking back into the team. In 12 games, he's scored 5, got 6 assists and 5 man of the matches. For free!


I also signed Sol Campbell on a free too. But he has been utter shite.

Aye I've not touched the game since raging about the 2 games I had at home, leading 2-0 on both and somehow losing 1 and drawing the other.

Played it quite a bit last few days, won prem and champs league last season did a upheaval of my defence after the woeful year and threw in my youngsters who were awesome (2 DC are wonderkids) my defence was 22 - 20 - 21 - 27 year olds so well set for this season and the future haha

you got him for only 27 mill?? thats well good!! cost me double! he is amazing though, got me something like 15-20 goals and about 20 assists in my first season.

I could do with some new central defenders, vermaelen and koscielny are both 28/29 now and i have no real cover either except some 18 year olds, although i only spent about £5m of my £29m transfer budget in the summer and then in about october the board said 'heres another £10m' copmpletley out the blue, i didnt even request it or anything! so i now have £40m to spend and i dont really need it, im selling a few players in january too so reckon i could have about £50m!!

anyone suggest any real good central defenders? Must be quick, slow defence in prem is a no no.

oh and not sure who it was the suggested him, but i signed davide santon in the summer, he is doing great, stats arnt brilliant, but plays very well

If you need a solid CB, sign Martin Kelly.

Got him for pennies for Newcastle, and he is mint. In the England starting 11 every game.

3rd season will be perfect then. I think I am in my 4th season now and he is about 22/23.

He's a big lad, good in the air, scores quite a few goals from set pieces. (think his goal tally in all competitions was 9 last season).

Not sure on his pace, but he always performs well. Can play very well at RB too.

As said, I got him when he was quite young, so only about 3mil iirc.

sounds good, if he plays at RB too then he should be quick enough, I bet liverpool will be playing him now in my save so will cost more than 3 mill, although Arsene Wenger is managing them in my game so he may help out his old club lol

He's at Man City on mine, currently on loan at Sheffield Utd - and with 30 goals to his name as of yet.

I wonder if I could nab him next season thanks to my links to City..

He had been dumped in to their reserves and transfer listed when I got him. They now want him back, they've been offering £12mil+ for him, when I got him for about £2mil.

One season tapping up and he only had year left on contract I'm in 2017 too he's like 27/28

Sanogo is at Sevilla on mine, not exactly set the world alight as on previous games, City signed him when young then ditched him

City offered 29mill for Guilano at start of the season but I couldn't bare to sell him even for that

Sanogo always goes City in my games... he is on loan to blackburn in that pic above.


In my swindon save somehow they have City as a parent club (not sure where that comes from as I've never heard of it in real life, and I thought they were meant to be realistic - might ask phuz later) so I have had him on loan for 3 seasons every season going up a div haha

Looked him up last night and wasnt that great, gets about 2 1/2 star ratings from my 20/20 scouts... will keep an eye on him though, I do like getting english players where i can.

Any other good CB suggestions?

Really? Fair enough. My 20/20 scouts/coaches rate him at 4 stars. I got him at a young age though and played him fairly reguarly so that may be why he has developed quite well.

My other CB is a guy called Xulu or something? Dont know his exact name. South African bloke, scouts rate him similarly to Kelly so might be worth looking at. Only young too.

Your scouts do the rating for how good he is compared to your team and expectations are so for Newcastle a crud defender is probably highly rated haha..

Rasmus Falk, Danish youngster.

I've signed him for my Rangers team. £1.4million or so I payed. He has scored 19 goals in 30 games with 12 assists or so.

He is an central attacking mid, but train him to play AMR and you can't go wrong at all. Brilliant player.

Also, Jamie Murphy (motherwell) and Lewis Milne (Cowdenbeath IIRC) are also great young prospects!

He's AML and support, scored in the game after I said that to be fair haha..

I play 4-2-2-2 and it's pretty much set up with 5 players attacking as one of the CMs is Advanced Playmaker so I don't want my AMs even more attacking but might try him as inside forward, he has only played 10 games or so

Has anyone taken an international job yet?

After 3 seasons at arsenal I won the FA cup 3 times, League Cup 3 times, Champions League 2 times and Premier league once, then capello retired and I was offered the job. Since taking it I am struggling to do well with my arsenal team! I dont get why, I have the same players, havnt signed anyone this season as I dont need anyone, Im starting to think its something to do with managing 2 teams?

Also, england are 2nd best team in the world on my save, but the team is proper shite!! i have a feeling i may be losing them a few places on the rankings!!

On the last FM I went Spain manager and won the world cup, whatever that other random cup thing is and the Euros then quit.. The game spent a lot of time set to 'On holiday' I'll be honest but it was fun to return to club management after with a whole load of new regens so really having to scout to find players

I got Mexico in one of the old games, when Carlos Vela and Andres Guardado were mint... had them both at Liverpool so managed to take them to the final of that copa libartoria thingy but lost so I resigned out of shame.

Benzema and Hernandes have 3 months injuries for me now(out for season pretty much ) which means I now only have my two youngsters Dale and Asperogenous!! Fair play though Asperogenous has scored 10 in his last 5 and Dale has 3 in 7 playing deeper come on the youngsters get me to the title!! Lol

I'm only in 2013, my second season seemed to take about ten years. Capello's still in charge.

Just signed Patrick Kisnorbo (seeing as I'm losing Sol Campbell and Sam Collins, and none of my many reserves are up for regular first team football yet) and Alan Smith (as I've only really got one DM at the moment and was fooked when he was out last season*) to try and prevent me from going straight back into league one.

*I tried to get Leon Britton from Swansea, but he wanted £15,000 p/w, despite being on £6,500 at the moment in a relegation threatened team. f**k. off.

I'VE STILL GOT TOO MANY PLAYERS!

all my fault I know, but I could do without at least a third/half of them. Tried offering them out to clubs on transfers and even loans (that I'd still pay the wages for, as I'm nice like that..) - but nothing.

If I just start terminating contracts, will the morale of the remaining players suffer? I don't need the money per se, I just can't keep 7 central defenders (etc..) happy! what a nob.
