Forza 3

Few thoughts....

1. I wonder if tyre wear will show on the tyres? Also if the camber is -ve, will the inside of the tyre show wear and the outside less?

2. Will you finally be able to see a FMIC fitting snugly behind the bumper? Will exhausts look different after an upgrade? Will rollcages be shown in cars that have them added afterwards?

Only little graphical things really that would make the game a little nicer to look at but without you wouldn't miss them!

1. You can't take the wheels off the car, so how will you see the wear on the inside?

2. They were in FM2 iirc.

I'd imagine pretty much everyone shall install the ford racing pack, 2 great tracks in there. It's not going to take up as much hard drive space as I thought.

I'm installing both discs tbh. That game will be the one I play most I've got plenty of space it will speed up load times and save battering the noisy DVD drive.

I was initially worried as I only have the 20gb drive which only has about 4gig of space free at the moment. No need for me to delete stuff now.

Yeah same here lol - got around 36GB left of my 120GB HDD. Most of the space taken up has been due to installing games etc....

You can clearly see the inside of this tyre and where it would wear if camber was -ve

I know you could see rollcages from outside, but when you get in a car which you have installed a rollcage in, will it show it going through dash or down the side of the a pillar etc..

but thats photomode... nothing ingame or in motion at all will look like that, so no you wont see it.

Lol I know but if that photo was taken after a couple laps around the 'Ring with -3 Camber it would be good too see!

Looks like I'll be buying the Forza Motorsport 3 Super Elite Console bundle, it appears to offer good value for money.

lol i love these photo mode shots, it is a great way of showing what a console can do before realtime output.. after all it has still rendered the still shot.

but the truth is at the moment (and im sure it will be better next generation) that all these lovely crisp clear graphics you see on the internet are viewed through a monitor running native resolution.

i have a 22" LCD 1080p with PC running DVI-D at 1080p and i have a xbox360 on the same monitor running HDMI at 720p/640p -> scaled (badly imo) to 1080p and no matter what my 360 never looks as crisp and clean as those shots in fact its miles away from looking good on my 32" panasonic 1080p, 1080p pj either and ive have 4 xbox360`s now :)( cheap crap)

however ive seen some older 720p lcd`s come almost close to that quality

LCD`s (and most peoples are probably 1080p) never look anywhere near as good if they arent running native res.

until a console can run proper 1080p 60hz 1:1 I think those shots are a waste of time.

(btw ps3 dash is cool though and some games on that genuinely look good in 1080p)

a PC however can run graphics just like that to the eye and at full res :D

TBH you'd need a PC running 2560x1600 with 16xQAA and 16xAF to get visuals matching those caps. Promo caps should be banned. They're almost always bullshit, and do not represent the final product.

IMO.

TBH thought mate you need to be retarded to think the game will look like this!
