i played the demo i didnt like it it was too slow

Really m8? What view are you using? On the incar/bumper view I thought it seemed pretty good even tho the speed is never too high due to the track...flying down the downhill section after the pit straight twitching about seems pretty quick to me

Chris

I've still not called them (a second time) I'll have to get round to giving someone some serious abuse. I know it's not an issue inside my place as I connected the router to the master socket, then the test socket and still 0 improvement in speed so it's either oversubscribed line (Most likely) or an issue somewhere between my place and the exchange.

I agree with this, okay the mini and evo don't feel that quick, but the R8 and Porsche on the downhill bit is definately gives a sense of speed same things.

I'd gone back and started a new game on Forza2 and spent part of the weekend on it. Loaded Forza3 last night and did about 40 laps on time trial and it feels a million times better. On Forza2 I found I could get away with some things I'm pretty sure you wouldn't in reality. Forza3 punishes you for these.

Force feedback is a lot stronger on Forza3 as well.

no the cars seemed decent enough i just fell asleep waiting for it to load from selecting car to starting to actually drive

Loading times arent great on the demo I agree. Hopefully the full game will be quicker who knows. That said it's probably comparable or slightly quicker than GT5p.

Sorry, didn't realise you meant loading times. That was an issue on Forza2 when waiting to race. There seems to be quite a delay from selecting your car, to selecting the colour to then adjusting the difficulty on Forza3.

It's probably been mentioned and I've missed it but how big is the second disc as if if I were to install it to my hard drive? I only have a 20gig and it's currently only got 2 gig free.

I can loose a couple of demos that will save up probably another 2 gig but I don't want to be left with it completely full so I can't download any more demos later etc...

where can I get one of those transfer cables so I can copy stuff over when I get round to getting a larger drive?

The Benchmark High Speed Ring is best described as an old airfield and hangar converted into a race track and automotive playground, perfect for all manner of creative “Forza Motorsport” hoonage and multiplayer mayhem. The track is characterized by 3.96 miles of rough surfaces and huge open areas, featuring a massive oval, an 8-lane drag strip, and an airplane hangar that players can drive (or drift) through.

lol, should be interesting

shouldn't you be in Egypt?

Speed ring sounds awesome tbh. Good place for practicing the drifting skills (or lack of lol)

leaving saturday mate and coming back on the 24th.

when im back we need to do some drifting on it like we did on 2

an 8 player drag race with all the same car could be intresting

lol its released on the 23rd, only one day before you come back...

i know but to be honest id rather be looking at titties on the beach lol

i wonder how tunable the bugatti is surely thats a drag race winner when fully tuned up 2000 bhp maybe?

lol, power doesn't mean alot. My F40 competizione from Forza two was knocking out a pitiful sub 700bhp but monstered the other guys 1000/1200 bhp U999 cars.

Pick your favorite Big Three manufacturer and go big time circle track racing. Forza 3’s intense physics model will allow you to also play the role of crew chief as you manipulate tire pressures, swap springs, adjust shock performance and add sway bars to these Monte Carlo SS; Dodge Charger and Ford Fusion stock cars then evaluate the changes at speed on the track. Test the changes at oval or oval-based circuits like Sedona, Sunset Peninsula and Twin Ring Motegi or go the road racing route at exotic venues such as Le Mans, the Nurburgring and Silverstone. With a common starting point truly talented tuners will rise to the top. Further these naked racers are screaming for lively liveries, making them prime targets for painters.
