Free 07744 numbers on Orange

Are 07744's currently allowed as part of Orange's cross network free minute deals, does anyone know? They're the numbers that allow you to call abroad for free. According to Martin's Money Tips they are, but can someone actually tell me right here and now with confidence that yes they are because they use them? Just wondering because I'm about to go with an 18 month deal especially for this reason, and a mistake would be a disaster! Of course the Orange helplines are completely evasive about the whole thing, seeing as how they don't like it being done ^^

Bear in mind Orange can change terms at the drop of a hat though.
