french car doesn't like our winter?

On really cold mornings my trip computer (172 MkII) resets...

Everything zeroes, MPG, Average speed, range etc. Everything apart from the odometer thingie that tells the mileage of the car.

Is it just mine, while annoying I'm not overly concerned,.. wondered if there was a quick fix though. Other than take ol' black beauty, made from biscuit tins clio back to France...

A few people on here have had this, not sure what the fix is though.

done a hefty bit of searching (hey I'm stuck in on a friday night, so why not?) and it seems there is no known fix, other than renault replacing your dials... doesn't mean it's a fix though! effin french state controlled car makers!
