French Shouldn't Be Allowed To Make Cars

Put my car into local garage to get cam belt changed yesterday. Got a phone call to say that the belt had pulled the pulleys off a little so it has knackered the bearings inside the power sterring pump so i need a new pump!

So looks like i am gonna need:

Complete Cam belt kit
New Power steering pump
and also timing belt kit as it is getting done too.

Prob looking at about £700-800 for it all yeah?

the Power steering pump is driven of the ass belt i think so why new cam belt? sound like a rip off they fucked up lol

cam belt is the timing belt. I got a power steering pump fitted recently and that came to about £500 fitted. 72k service including cambelt change was £360. Sore bill ahead

I think he means it went in for cambelt and when they were removing the AUX belt as they have to to get to the cambelt they found the PAS pump bearings had been damaged.
