I finally finished the claying today. To say there is absolutely nothing on there, it's come up quite well.

Next week will see the SRP on the rotary, EGP and a wax.

Cheers guys.

Looks clean mate, what has happened to the Turinis?
I finally killed my A539's.

They're sat in the garage along with a set of Yoko' S-drives waiting for some loving with the sander and a few coats of Titanium silver.

Hopefully they'll turn out as well as the aliums.

Looks realy nice, Never used clay before. what does it actually do?
It strips back to bare paint/lacquer. It removes any tree sap, tar, flies etc. The paintwork feels like glass afterwards.

It also removes any wax/polish so it is a good idea to re-seal once used. I just don't have the time this weekend.

Rub it over a bit....you can begin to feel when its taken everything off. Best thing to do is keep checking with your hand every so often.

I think some people are quite fearful of claying but its not that difficult to do at all.
