Front and Rear Strut Braces for Mk1 172

Need some input from you guys...Iam looking to buy a front and rear strut brace for my Mk1 172. I have heard that these mods can improve the handling of the car by up to two thirds.. can anyone else share their experiences once having carried out the mod..? Also, whats a good brand to go for, OMP any good...???

Some say the fronts are useless other sya a bit of an improvement, no idea how you can measure handling by a percentage!

Rears a just extra weight, the rear suspension design means that they have no effect at all.
