We do a setup aimed at trackday/fast road users, but not for stupid money!!!
We use Brembo Group N discs (hi carbon) standard size at 280mm, but theyre currently the best discs you can get (we have others going into development shortly) theyre just plain rotors, nothing fancy like drilled or grovved (no need at all, we managed to crack or warp the ones weve tried!!)
our package uses the Performance Friction 97 compound pad as used on the clio cup race cars (agian awesome pad, best you can get)
and to top off the package we use Goodridge stainless steel braided brake lines, again the best product available on the market
all this retails for £275 all inc and VAT and delivery to mainland UK (ill find out ASAP on shipping costs to Aussie)
compare this to £1000+ for a 4 piston caliper setup (for virtually no braking performance increase) id say it was bloddy good value for money
the main thing to remember with clios is, they weigh 1100kg approx, so not exactly in the same catergory as a HSV in terms of weight, so STUPID braking power isnt exactly nesccesary, ask anyone thats had our setup how good it is!!!
