Front door window rubbers - are they a b1tch to swap out?

Debating whether or not to bite the bullet and buy both of the window rubber surrounds for the front doors. I know they are knocking on for £200 per side, but I'm more concerned about actually fitting them.

I believe that they have metal sections within them, that can easily be bent or twisted. Has anyone done this themselves and was it a right ballache? Hopefully getting a practice run on a scrapper Mk2 Clio soon - but it's not the removal of the old parts I'm bothered about - more the fitting of the new ones.

Any advice at all?

Yes right carry on from experience, very easy to bend when fitting.
