front number plate recess

i cant seem to find any pictures

am tempted to fill my front number plate recess on my mk2 ph1 any tips on how best to do it? as ive got a feeling filler will fall off lol

There does look to be a bit of a difference. Its probably due to the paint having been faded as Ph1's are getting on a bit now. That or he took the picture just after it was put on (So it hadn't been washed or polished all together)

  lots of clios.
i smoothed mine out, cut out 2 sections of bumper off one at the scrappys, then used a soldering iron to melt it into the recess, fibreglassed over it then filled it...not on my car yet tho as they need painting

thats how they are the now and aint cracked with being moved around...yet :D haha

clio_stu have u converted your bumper to have sport foglights? coz ive been trying to do the same nd failing.

What do you mean?, ive just smoothed in the ordinary fog light surrounds into the bumper

ah dont worrh then. I just gave in and smoothed the fog lights.

But it all cracked when i bent the bumper to the shape of the car
