Front pads

  Cupless
OK, so I have just had two new tyres fitted on my cup (whilst on topic jesus , PE2's rock!) and I had a free Brake Checkup whilst it was in and was told I need new front pads.

Anyone recommend some decent front pads for a 172 Cup that wont do to much damage to my bank balance!

(And before anyone complains, Search function wont load here at work!)

the carbon loraines are getting very good reviews, theres a few more on the market which i have never used so cant comment.

i just like the stock stuff tbh. seems fine. we did the Nuremburgring on Aldi pads (£21 for the pair) and got no brake fade until the 4th lap! was giving it loads of beans too tripod style

Yeah tempted to go for Stock again, they dont seem to of lasted too well (not sure how old they were when I got the car though). Anyone have a word about the selection at K-TEC as its pretty local for me.

Stock stock pads will last longer though thatn 4 laps even with some abuse.

Although real working the brakes with good tyres and you'll have near enough faded ds2500's

Carbon loranisn I woulnd't recomend they wrech the paint and make a heck of a lot of noise.

I'd keep with stock if your happy bleed the brakes as well with new fluid.
